How to Close an Old Checking Account with Positive Balance

I’m trying to close one of my old checking accounts, but it’s still showing a small positive balance from an interest deposit last month. I already transferred the funds out, but the system won’t let me close it online. What steps do I need to take to fully close the account, and will there be any impact on my credit or automatic payments I had set up through that account?
