Yesterday my debit card was declined twice at the grocery store even though I had more than enough money in my account to cover the purchase. I ended up having to leave my cart and go home embarrassed. Later I checked my app and saw no holds, no restrictions, nothing unusual. Has anyone experienced random declines like this before? Could it be an issue with the merchant’s payment terminal, or does the bank sometimes block certain types of purchases for security reasons? I need to know what to do so this doesn’t happen again.
