How long do bank holds typically last on mobile check deposits for larger amounts?

I deposited a check from a freelance client using the mobile deposit feature on Monday. The app accepted the photos and said the check was being reviewed, but now it’s been four days, and I still don’t see the money in my account. The check was for a decent amount, so I’m wondering if the bank holds larger deposits longer. Does anyone know the typical timeline? I’m trying to plan my bills and don’t want to overdraft while waiting.
